Terms and Conditions of “Dyson Purifier Upgrade Programme”

  1. The Dyson Purifier Upgrade Programme (the Programme) is operated by Dyson (Hong Kong) Limited, a company registered under the laws and regulations of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In these terms and conditions, we are referred to as "we," "us," "our" and "Dyson"; An eligible participant is referred to as "customer," "you," "your" and "yourself." By participating in this Programme, you confirm that you have read and understood, and agree to abide by, these terms and conditions. (Terms and Conditions).

  2. This Programme will start on September 1, 2023. Any change to the Programme period will not be advised separately. Dyson has the right to end the Programme period without further notice.

  3. This Programme is only open to persons residing in Hong Kong who are over the age of 18 and hold a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number.

  4. Each person is eligible to participate in this Programme once only with identification by their valid mobile phone number & email address.

Details of the Dyson Upgrade Programme

  1. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, this programme is only available for air purifier, fan and heater users to join the Upgrade Programme with eligible air purifiers, fans and heater products. Upgrade requires a real and clear full product image of your existing product with a visible logo in exchange for a voucher code for the purchase of a designated Dyson purifier in our official Hong Kong online store. The voucher code is not applicable to other Dyson products, accessories or after-sale services.

  2. To participate in the Upgrade Programme, please visit our official Hong Kong online store at /campaign/purifiers-trade-up-programme ("Dyson Website") for details, and follow the instructions below:
    1. Contact our Customer Service via Dyson HK Official WhatsApp.
    2. If you have decided to participate in the Upgrade Programme, please provide accurate information on the product you wish to upgrade, including your current model (Upgrade Product Particulars).
    3. The estimated Upgrade value will be determined based on the Dyson purifier you are interested in trading up to and will be shown on the Upgrade Website. If you accept it, you may proceed and submit the Upgrade order to us.
    4. After our Customer Service team has verified that the product image uploaded for upgrade matches the product particulars stated in your Upgrade order and that the uploaded full product image is real and clear with logo visible, Our CS team will send you the voucher via WhatsApp with your registered phone number. If the product for Upgrade fails to match the stated product particulars, we shall inform you immediately unless for any exceptional case.

  3. By placing a Upgrade order under this Programme, you warrant that:
    1. You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract with us.
    2. All of the information submitted by you in relation to the Upgrade Programme, including but not limited to the product for Upgrade particulars are true and accurate.
    3. The product for Upgrade uploaded by you to us is original without alteration, is non-counterfeited, and has not been obtained by any illegal means or improper methods.
    4. You own all rights to and have good title to the product for Upgrade that you uploaded and declare that you are the owner of the product for Upgrade free from any third party claims, liens and encumbrances.
    5. You have read over, fully understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
    6. You release us of any liabilities or claims that may arise if your uploaded product for Upgrade is in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
    7. Your participation in the Upgrade Programme will not violate any applicable laws in Hong Kong; and
    8. You agree to fully indemnify us from and against any third party claims against us arising from (i) performing our rights and obligations under this Upgrade Programme and/or (ii) any breach of these terms and conditions by you.

  4. Dyson will not accept any Product for Upgrade which is non-original, altered, counterfeit, pirated or obtained by any unlawful means, including theft or any other improper methods. Dyson reserves all rights to refuse acceptance of any Product for Upgrade or seek compensation from the relevant participant for any loss caused by the breach of these Terms and Conditions. The voucher will not be activated if the Product for Upgrade is found to be non-original, altered, counterfeit, pirated or obtained by any unlawful means. The full Product for Upgrade upload needs to be real and clear with the logo visible to be eligible for the Upgrade Programme.


  5. The assessment mechanism as to the voucher value to be issued for Upgrade Products will be updated and determined according to the market conditions without prior notice and is subject to the absolute discretion and final decision of Dyson.

  6. Please refer to the following upgrade product discount amounts by motor, the value will be subject to Dyson’s final assessment.

    Dyson or non-Dyson air purifier / fan / heater • $500 Discount to upgrade to a Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Formaldehyde HP09/ Dyson Purifier Cool™ Formaldehyde TP09.
    • $400 Discount to upgrade to Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07/ Dyson Purifier Cool™ TP07.

  7. The voucher is only applicable for the purchase of designated models of purifiers on the Dyson Website i.e. – either the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ Formaldehyde HP09 (Suggested Selling Price HK$7,180); the Dyson Purifier Cool™ Formaldehyde TP09 (Suggested Selling Price HK$6,180); the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP07 (Suggested Selling Price HK$5,780); or the Dyson Purifier Cool™ TP07 (Suggested Selling Price HK$4,780).

    For product detail please refer to /products/air-quality/shop-all-purifiers. When we have completed the verification of your uploaded product for Upgrade, you will receive the voucher within 3 working days if your application is successful.

  8. The Voucher code issued under this Programme is valid within the same month of registration in the official Dyson online store (www.dyson.hk). It is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any products other than designated Dyson purifier machines.

  9. One upgrade product per registration is eligible for one voucher code only. No combination of more than 1 product will be accepted to maximise the voucher value.

  10. The upgrade voucher code is only valid at www.dyson.hk.

  11. Expired voucher codes will not be reissued.

  12. Only one coupon code applies per transaction order. The additional voucher code input in one single purchase will be forfeited.

  13. Dyson has no liability to reissue any offer if the consumer forgets to input the upgrade voucher code during purchase.

  14. When a consumer purchases a designated Dyson purifier using the voucher code, the model cannot be changed even by paying a differential cost once the order is completed.

  15. Dyson reserves the right to modify the discount amount and upgrade items or models of this Upgrade Programme or cease operation of this Upgrade Programme at any time.

  16. Recycling service of existing purifier / fan / heater machine at Dyson demo stores physically are only available for users who have successfully completed the purifier upgrade purchase. Confirmation printed email & receipt of upgraded Dyson purifier will have to be presented or the old machine will not be collected. Eligible submission will also receive the special buy 1 get 1 free offer on filter voucher code while it will be valid from the date of issuance for 30 days.

  17. If you would like to cancel your participation in the Upgrade Programme, please follow below.

    3. By participating in this Programme, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If there is any violation, Dyson reserves the final right to disqualify your eligibility for the Programme, and will reserve the right for final dispute of any damage to the Programme.

    4. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dyson will have the final discretion on all matters concerning this Programme which includes amendments to these terms and conditions as well as variations to and/or termination of the Programme.

    5. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dyson shall not be held liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage you may suffer in connection with the Programme or any matter that is provided under these Terms and Conditions.

    6. Personal information collected by Dyson will be used for administering this Programme, and only for the purposes that it is expressly stated. In addition, you expressly agree and permit Dyson to transfer your personal information to third parties authourised by Dyson, including but not limited to the purpose of performing this Programme. Dyson privacy policy will apply to all personal information collected in this Programme. Before accepting these Terms and Conditions and participating in this Programme, you must read the privacy policy of Dyson carefully.

    7. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable, then the provision in question will be replaced with one that more closely reflects the intent of Dyson in the original provision, and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

    8. These Terms and Conditions Recycling service of existing purifier institute the entire agreement between Dyson and yourself concerning this Programme, and shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Hong Kong. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China to resolve any disputes that may arise.

    9. In case of any inconsistency between the English version and Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
