Terms and Conditions of "Dyson Trade-in Programme"
- The Dyson Trade-in Programme (Programme) is operated by Dyson (Hong Kong) Limited. In these terms and conditions, we are referred to as "we," "us," "our" and "Dyson" an eligible participant is referred to as "customer," "you," "your" and "yourself." By participating in this programme, you confirm that you have read and understood, and agree to abide by, these terms and conditions. ("Terms and Conditions").
- This programme starts on Jul 1, 2024 onwards until further notice ("Programme Period"). Any change to the programme period will not be separately advised.
- This programme is available for both home and beauty products including floorcare, air treatment products and lighting products.
- Each person is eligible to participate in this Programme up to the maximum of 5 times per category with identification by their valid mobile phone number.
- This programme is only available for Hong Kong SAR region.
- This programme is only available for Trade-in of the products – vacuum cleaners, electric fans (excluding portable fans) and purifiers and lighting products acceptable to us (eligible “Trade-in Product” requires the main machine body and motor. Partial machines, accessories or other irrelevant items will not be accepted) in exchange for a voucher code for the purchase of a designated Dyson products on Dyson.hk or at one of our Dyson Demo Stores https://www.dyson.hk/. The voucher code is not applicable to non-eligible Dyson products, accessories or after-sale services.

- By placing a Trade-in order under this Programme, you warrant: A. you will hand over and pass the title of the Trade-in Product to us
- Dyson will not accept any Trade-in Product which is non-original, altered, counterfeit, pirated or obtained by any unlawful means, including theft or any other improper methods. Dyson reserves all rights to refuse acceptance of any Trade-in Product or seek compensation from the relevant participant for any loss caused by the breach of these Terms and Conditions. Dyson reserves the right to charge the difference between your discounted price and retail selling price and we will not return the Trade-in Product to you if the Trade-in Product is found to be non-original, altered, counterfeit, pirated or obtained by any unlawful means. The trade-in product needs to have a complete main body and motor to be eligible for the Trade-in programme.
- We are not responsible for any additional accessories and/or products delivered to us, and we reserve the right not to return these or any other accessories and/or products to you.
- The assessment mechanism as to the voucher value to be issued for Trade-in Products is subject to the absolute discretion and final decision of Dyson.
- Once the Trade-in programme registration is completed and the Trade-in Products are delivered, it will no longer be returned to you in any circumstances.
- Please refer to below trade-in product rebate amounts depending on brand of returned machine, subject to Dyson’s final decision after verification. Offer is only available for designated products.
Discount & Offer
The voucher is not applicable to below Dyson products or any new products:Machine Returned Vacuum cleaners, electric fans (excluding portable fans) and purifiers and Lighting products For any Dyson machine 20% Off Retail Selling Price
• Specified promotional products, Hair Care products, Dyson OnTrac™ headphones and Dyson Zone™ noise cancelling headphones
- If you choose not to participate after returning machine, Dyson has the right to recycle and/or dispose of the Trade-in Product in an appropriate manner without incurring any legal liability to you or any other person. The machine will not be returned to you once you have registered the Trade-in programme.
- The Voucher code issued under this Programme is valid for use within 2 weeks on Dyson.hk from issuance and is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any products other than designated Dyson products.
- One trade-in product per registration is only eligible for one voucher code. No combination of more than 1 product will be accepted to maximise the voucher value.
- The trade-in voucher code is only valid on www.dyson.hk.
- Only one coupon code applies per transaction order. The additional voucher code input in one single purchase will be forfeited.
- This trade-in voucher code cannot be used in conjunction with any other rebate, membership entitlement or promotional offer unless specified.
- Dyson has no liability to reissue any offer if consumers forget to input the trade-in voucher code during purchase.
- When a consumer purchases a designated Dyson product using the voucher code, the model cannot be changed even by paying the differential cost once the order is completed.
- Dyson reserves the right to modify the rebate amount and trade-up items/ models of this Trade-in programme or cease operation of this trade-in programme at any time.

- By participating in this Programme, you expressively agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If there is any violation, Dyson reserves final right to disqualify your eligibility for the programme, and will reserve the right for final dispute of any damage to the programme.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dyson will have the final discretion on all matters concerning this Programme which includes amendments to these terms and conditions as well as variation to and/or termination of the Programme.
- Personal information collected by Dyson will be used for administering this Programme, and only for the purposes that it is expressly stated. In addition, you expressly agree and permit Dyson to transfer your personal information to third parties authorised by Dyson. Dyson privacy policy (https://privacy.dyson.com/zh-hant/privacy-policy.aspx) will apply to all personal information collected in this Programme. Before accepting these Terms and Conditions and participating in this Programme, you must read the privacy policy of Dyson carefully.
- In case of any inconsistency between the English version and Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Details of the Dyson Trade-in Programme
A. If you have decided to participate in the Trade-in Programme, you must contact Dyson CS via WhatsApp to provide personal information, accurate information on the Trade-in Product, including your current machine (collectively “Trade-in Product Particulars”).
B. Dyson CS will issue you the voucher code respective to the program offers.
C. You may proceed to place orders for your new Dyson machine on Dyson.hk, applying the voucher code for trade-in discount.
D. When your new Dyson machine arrives, our delivery team will collect the current machine from you. Please make sure that the current machine main body and motor, which allow the machine to function properly, are packed and boxed appropriately and adequately sealed and contain no harmful objects to reduce the chance of damage during transit.
E. If your current machine is not ready for collection when our delivery team reaches, or if you choose to receive your order from any of the S.F. service locations, outlying islands & remote areas (please refer to our shipping policy), you are obligated to arrange it to designated address of Dyson warehouse afterwards.Dyson reserves the right to charge the difference between your discounted price and retail selling price if the current machine is not surrendered within 14 days from purchase.
F. If the Trade-in product fails to match the Trade-in product particulars, Dyson reserves the right to charge the difference between your discounted price and retail selling price and the collected machine will not be returned and Dyson shall have the right to recycle and/or dispose of the Trade-in product in an appropriate manner without incurring any legal liability to you or any other person.

and follow the instructions below for the Trade-in Programme:
A. Bring the Trade-in product to the official Hong Kong Dyson Demo Stores and a Dyson Expert will help you register for the Trade-in programme accordingly.
B. If you have decided to participate in the Trade-in Programme, please provide accurate information on the Trade-in Product, including its model (collectively “Trade-in Product Particulars”) together with your personal information (i.e. name, contact number, email address and address) for registration.
C. Once your product is verified, our Product Specialist will inform you of the finalised rebate amount.
D. The discount will be offered immediately on the spot if you accept rebate amount, and you may purchase one designated Dyson products per transaction instantly at the store.
B. all of the information submitted by you in relation to the Trade-in Product, including but not limited to the Trade-in Product Particulars are true and accurate;
C. the Trade-in Product surrendered by you to us is original without alteration, is non-counterfeited, and has not been obtained by any illegal means or improper methods;
D. you own all rights to and have good title to the Trade-in Product that you traded in with us and declare that you are the owner of the Trade-in Product free from any third party claims, liens and encumbrances and/or are legally authorised to dispose of the Trade-in Product to us without any limitations and restrictions;
E. you have read over, fully understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions;
F. you release us of any liabilities or claims that may arise if you send the Trade-in Product to us in breach of these Terms and Conditions;
G. your participation in the Trade-in Programme will not violate any applicable laws in Hong Kong; and
H. you agree to fully indemnify us from and against any third party’s claim against us arising from (i) performing our rights and obligations under this Trade-in Programme and/or (ii) any breach of these terms and conditions by you.
